Can’t wait to listen to the podcast tomorrow. Yay ?. I’d love to have her cookbook to learn more and create more of her recipes.

The busier my kids get the more I am trying to find meals to prepare ahead of time so as to get dinner on the table in the few minutes I have after one of their activities. I think Ellie’s book sounds great to help with this!
I’d love to use this book to help get my husband in the kitchen to cook with me! One of our fave do ahead meals are turkey meatballs.
I’m with you. I adore turkey meatballs. Have you seen my recipe for Garden Turkey Meatballs w/ spaghetti? https://www.lizshealthytable.com/2013/04/08/garden-turkey-meatballs-and-spaghetti/
I want to start by saying I have loved everything Ellie has been doing back from when I first was introduced to her on food network. This cook book would be a perfect addition to my cooking references and give me new inspirations to make new meals for my loved ones. After yesterdays podcast I had to go home and make a fish dish because it was all I could think about all day! The salmon dish alone sounds amazing and if the rest of the book are like that I am in. our family go to dish is usually pasta related and the one we love most is a linguini pasta with salami and roasted broccoli. I add lots of olive oil and garlic with parmesan cheese!
Tim and I ate that salmon / orzo dish for days. Soooo delicious!
Plainly put…I love to cook and I love to eat. The more recipe books the better!
I watched Ellie when she was on the Food network and missed her when she was no longer there …… I would love to win her cookbook and be able to cook healthier for me and my husband …… I am a cancer survivor and after having been through chemo, I would love to know how to cook more nutritious meals ……. My husband and I are in our 70’s but we love to cook and sometimes cook for our grandchildren ………

My favorite make Ahead meal is probably spinach lasagna. I made it for my own wedding reception! We had a house party catered by friends and family.
I would love to win this book because I get home from work at my 1 year olds dinner time and need ideas for dinners that can be served up quickly. I am also trying to start her early with healthy food habits and I love Ellie’s focus on healthy recipes. Liz, recently I made your corny salmon cakes and froze them, so that is a make ahead meal I am currently trying.
I would love to have Ellie’s new recipe book as I have loved her for years and know it would be a good book to own and use for my family–mostly because they would be good, healthy recipes and that is all I collect these days!
For health reasons (and a positive outlook), I am attempting to go all vegetarian and take my husband with me :). I’ve always loved Ellie’s recipes and watching her show. Her recipes help so much with meatless meals so, I would love to win the book!
My favorite make-ahead family dinner is soup with tons of flavor/spices and vegetables. If I can throw in vegetables we don’t eat a lot of, it’s a win/win.
I love Ellie’s style of cooking. I love to feed myself and my family healthy. So…..why wouldn’t I love to have Ellie’s book???
I really need to just start eating better and I know that starts with cooking. This book seems like it would be a great starting place to begin eating in a healthier way.
I would love to win this cookbook because I want to continue to cook healthy and delicious meals for my fiancé and I. This cookbook looks great! My make ahead meal that I love to prepare are chicken fajitas. I chop the onions, peppers, and even the chicken up in advance so that’s definitely a time saver.
Sounds like my mind of recipe!
I have plenty of time to cook on the weekends, but very little during the week. I’d love to have dinners that are ready made that my husband can finish up and feed the kids during the busy weeknights.
I would love a copy for my daughter. She is a busy working mom to my one and only grandson, 14 mo old. Three years ago she got teim and healthey and inspired me two years ago to lose 80 lbs myself! It helped her conceive this beautiful child and gave me the chance to be totally involved in his daycare! She gives him all healthy foods, making most of it. Have you ever seen a babe this young whose favorite food is humus., LOL This cookbook would be perfect for her! And I enjoy Ellie’s show and know her food is great!
Thanks for sharing your story. How wonderful!
I love Ellie’s recipes and would love to include some new ones from the book in my repertoire
I like making lasagna and freezing it for a quick dinner

I have three kids, 6, 4, and 5 months. Easy meals are a MUST these days!
Ellie is my biggest food celebrity crush! I would love this cookbook, as would everyone! Im a working mom with 3 kids, 8 & under. Deciding what to cook each night is my biggest obstacle to getting healthy meals on the table… I would love the inspiration from her book!
I would love to win Ellie’s book. I enjoy trying new recipes for my husband and daughter who are adventurous eaters and my son who is a picky eater.
Ellie is my food celebrity crush! As a working mom with 3 little kids, I am always thinking ahead for healthy meals. The hardest part is coming up with what to make! Ellie’s book would be an inspiration! Love you show!
Love it. I have a few celebrity crushes out there too! Glad you stopped by 🙂
We are in a big transition in my house, where after several years of being home with my kids, I’m returning to a regular work schedule. I’m excited, yet anxious, especially when it comes to making dinner in a timely manner. Ellie’s book may be very helpful in this new season of life! Thank you for this opportunity!
I love her and haven’t done her recipes in awhile. Thanks for the reminder. My favorites are soup.
Ellie’s recipes are tried and true. I’ve never had a fail with on of her recipes. I’d love here new book. One of my favorite do ahead recipes is Cincinnati chili. I almost always have some in the freezer, ready to go.
First of all we both have the same name just spelled differently I love Ellie’s recipes and watch her cooking shows!
Ha! That’s great!
I just bought a different Ellie Krieger book today, but this one looks great! My work schedule changed this year, and I need to focus on planning healthy meals in advance so we’re not eating at 8 pm!
I have been severely disabled for over 26 years. Cooking is difficult and painful for me because of my disability. I had come to rely on processed and prepared foods. As a result, I have gained a lot of weight, so last year, I resolved to eat healthier. I also am a vegetarian. In recent months, I started cooking again and have figured out ways to ease the pain and discomfort when I do cook. I came across several of Ellie Krieger’s recipes online and have found them easy and enjoyable to make. Then, one afternoon, I discovered her PBS TV show. Now I watch whenever she is making anything vegetarian. I am now cooking at least twice a week, making enough of each recipe for two meals plus leftovers to freeze. I am losing weight and feeling better. I am grateful to Ellie Krieger for showing me that it’s not difficult to eat healthy and delicious food — and you don’t have to spend hours in the kitchen to achieve that.
I would love to win, I definitely need help with make ahead meals that would make after school/homework/dinner time so much easier!
I’m always on the search for easy and HEALTHY meals to make for my family. Easy is easy to find but healthy, that’s a challenge. Why? I seriously have to have dinner on the table in minutes…I get done with work around 7 and we like to have the kids in bed by 8 and have to do homework and bedtime routines within that time too so anything I can do to save me some time is needed!!!
Sounds like great cookbook that I could use at home with the kids and at work for clients! Thank you!
I love your podcast! Such a variety of topics and I’ve tried many recipes and love them! I would love Ellie’s book because I’m a mom of toddler twin boys who works full time so my life revolves around planning and preparing to help maintain order and sanity. Her cookbook would be a great way for me to make healthy and delicious meals for my family!
Glad you’re enjoying the show. Are there topics/guests you’d like to hear about or from? Do tell!!
